Measure Tool for checking distance between points in Photoshop
The Measure Tool is used to measure the distance between two points in the work area. A nonprinting measurement line is drawn across the image, while Photoshop displays position and distance information in the interface.
Select the Measure Tool
Select the Measure Tool from the toolbar. The measurement information can include the starting X and Y position, horizontal and vertical distance, and the overall distance between the selected points.
Open the image to measure
In this example, an image is opened so its dimensions or a specific distance within the image can be measured.
Drag between the two points
Drag from the starting point to the ending point. Photoshop draws the measurement line and displays the corresponding measurement information in the interface.
