The downloadable archives are useful learning references, but older packages can contain historical PHP or markup. When adapting them for a current project, validate request values, use PDO or MySQLi prepared statements, escape HTML output, and use an explicit record order.

| This is warning message as $start is not defined before. You can just suppress the message by using @$start before using it. | |
