Line Break Tag
The HTML <br> element inserts a line break within text. It is useful where line breaks are part of the content, such as addresses or poetry. Do not use repeated <br> tags to create layout spacing.

<br> has no closing tag. In HTML, write <br>; the slash form <br /> is also parsed but is not required in HTML syntax.

Ordinary source-code line breaks are usually collapsed like other whitespace. Use <pre> when whitespace itself must be preserved.
