MonthName() in Classic ASP
MonthName() converts a month number from 1 through 12 into the localized month name for the current locale.
Full month name
MonthName(10)With an English locale, the result is October.
Explicit long name
MonthName(10, False)False returns the full month name.
Abbreviated month name
MonthName(10, True)With an English locale, the result is Oct.
Locale note: month names are localized. Do not assume the returned text is English if the ASP application's locale is different.
